Cobalt Property Group is currently working on the design and entitlement of 82 Mary Street, a one-acre site on upper King Street which formerly was the home of the Hughes Lumber Company. As Charleston’s most vibrant and actively-emerging area, Upper King Street is home to some of the city’s most popular restaurants and nightlife. In addition, several new hotels and apartment buildings have transformed Upper King into a thriving district.
Immediately adjacent to the planned Lowline project, 82 Mary Street is zoned and optimally located for a number of uses, including residential, hospitality, and Class A office. It will also include a significant parking component, meeting both the needs of the project itself and the increased demand generated by surrounding retail and restaurants. The building will accommodate 150,000 rentable square feet of office tenants, 4,400 square feet of retail and parking. Delivery slated for May 2021.
